The Bakersfield Art Association sponsored an open show to the county called "Valley Scenes." I was so honored to have won first place with my acrylic painting "Evening Sky." The folks in this association are so encouraging and supportive and offer so much to the valley. B.A.A. provides shows, field trips, lessons, and comraderie to artists, students, and patrons of the arts. Thank you, my friends at Bakersfield Art Association!
