This just make me laugh...a Goldie Factory!  Here my book is, being assembled!  How kind my graphic designer Timothy Zilinsky and my printer Greg Andersen at Consolidated Press :) were to be there to oversee and capture the process for me when I was away in CA!

Camp Towhee's Humble Beginnings

As a member of a family who has been in the camp business for decades, I was honored to design this sign for Camp Towhee, located just 15 minutes south of the Canadian boarder.  My husband helped start this camp, as he is Site Manager of the Camp River Ranch (both belonging to Girl Scouts) and even put up the sign himself.

It was very good to meet other illustrators and see some familiar faces at the Open House.  We drew with the visiting children, and enjoyed an informal time with each other.
